Sarine Zenian, Recording Secretary

Sarine Zenian currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee for the ACYOA Seniors Chapter of St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church in Washington, D.C.  Ms. Zenian has been a lifelong member of the St. Mary’s ACYOA, beginning with the Juniors Chapter in 1996.  More recently, she has been actively involved with the St. Mary’s Seniors for the past eight years, and was elected to serve on its Executive Committee for the past six years.  In addition to her current position on the Executive Committee, Ms. Zenian has also served as the Chapter’s Secretary and Advisor. 

Ms. Zenian has just completed her first term on ACYOA Central Council and is excited to hopefully have another opportunity to work for ACYOA on the National level.  She served as the Secretary for her two year term.  She has truly enjoyed working with her fellow Council members and seeing the positive changes that have been taking place throughout the Diocese.

Ms. Zenian was also one of the Assistant Leaders for the 2006 ACYOA Armenia Service Project, where she supervised the participants and their work with Habitat for Humanity. 

Ms. Zenian graduated from the University of Maryland in 2004 with a B.A. in economics.  She currently works for Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. in Washington, DC.
