Chapter Workshop
The Chapter Workshop is designed for ACYOA chapter leaders and those who aspire to local leadership. Begun in 2009, the weekend program seeks to offer sound advice, practical methods, and planning tools that will enable chapter leaders to create effective programming that will attract young adults to the ACYOA. It is also an opportunity for youth to exchange ideas, share in fellowship and worship together.
The 5th Annual ACYOA Chapter Workshop will take place June 14-16, 2013 in a new location in Florida. After four years of being graciously hosted by the St. David Armenian Church in Boca Raton, Florida and their pastor, the Very Rev. Fr. Nareg Berberian, we are moving the workshop to St. Hagop Armenian Church in Pinellas Park, Florida. We are grateful to both parishes for extending their hospitality to the ACYOA!
All current and prospective ACYOA members are invited to join us for a casual weekend in the Tampa/St. Petersburg region as we explore the possibilities of a 'new' ACYOA in this day and age. Among the activities participants will take part in include a 'Faith in Action' service project to benefit a local Florida charity, as well as a night of fellowship Saturday.
The registration fee is $150 if you register BEFORE May 24 or $180 AFTER that date. The fee is payable on arrival and includes program, meal and accommodations at The St. Petersburg Marriott hotel.
