Andrew Yenicag has been involved in the Holy Martyrs and greater New York Armenian community since an early age. A graduate of Holy Martyrs’ Armenian and Sunday Schools, Andrew was a part of their ACYOA Juniors where he held positions as treasurer and publicist. Having served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Holy Martyrs ACYOA Seniors, Andrew has enjoyed attending a variety of national ACYOA programs since 2014, including Lenten Retreats, Chapter Workshops, and Sports Weekends. A 2019 recipient of the ACYOA’s Sam Nersesian Award, Andrew has a deep passion for serving the Armenian Church and the communities that surround him, including as a Counselor at St. Vartan Camp for numerous summers and volunteering in Armenia with the Fuller Center for Housing.
Andrew graduated from Fordham University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with Concentrations in Marketing and Sports Business. While in the Bronx, Andrew co-founded and led as President of the Armenian Society at Fordham and worked in the university's Athletics Department, where he managed their social media channels and, from time to time, suited up as the school’s mascot, Ramses the Ram. Andrew currently works in the Sports & Entertainment industry as a Marketing & PR specialist at Ketchum.
