Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection
New Britain, CT
Lucine is a member of the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection in New Britain, CT. She grew up as an active ACYOA member, dancer, choir member, and Armenian School student of St. Sarkis Armenian church in Dallas. She also enjoyed being a part of the Holy Trinity community in Toronto during her college years. Lucine graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from York University and is currently a Product Development Engineer for an architectural lighting firm. Lucine’s hobbies include Armenian dance, sewing/quilting, and eating ice cream.
Lucine’s favorite ACYOA moments include lock-ins, Palm Sunday luncheon prep, and retreats, where she’s made lasting friendships and many fun memories. Her leadership roles in her teenage years at St. Vartan Camp and as the church organist have given her the skills to connect with other young adults and youth. Lucine enjoys discussing with fellow ACYOA members about their faith journeys and learning more about how the Armenian Church’s teachings are relevant to the lives of young adults today.
