The ACYOA Seniors from St. James Armenian Church of Watertown, MA are so excited to welcome you all to Boston this Memorial Day Weekend! We have an exciting weekend planned filled with sports, entertainment, and fellowship to make memories with friends, both old and new! 

 

Registration

This year's registration can be completed through the 2026 ACYOA General Assembly & Sports Weekend website. Registration deadline is May 5th. Specific details regarding the offerings of each package are listed in the descriptions on the registration website. There are packages for the whole weekend or if you are local and or can't make it for the whole weekend, you can purchase tickets to individual events.

 

Hotel

Click HERE to book your hotel room! The discounted group rate offer ends on May 4. We are staying at the Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge Hotel at 575 Memorial Drive Cambridge, MA 02139. Located along the Charles River with stunning views of the Boston skyline. This full-service hotel features a fitness center, on-site dining, and is close to Boston, Watertown, venues, Harvard Square, and more! Make sure not to miss our welcome table at the hotel on Friday! Group rate is $255/night.

Weekend Schedule

Friday

The weekend begins with the annual General Assembly, as ACYOA Seniors delegates from across the Diocese gather to discuss annual business of the ACYOA, share new ideas, and participate in the elections for the Central Council. In the evening following General Assembly, reunite with friends at Urban Wild's casual atmosphere with food, lawn games, and more in their indoor/outdoor space!

Saturday

The games will begin Saturday morning at BB&N School Nicholas Athletic Center in Cambridge, MA, and include Men & Women's Basketball Co-ed Volleyball, Tavloo, Chess, Ping Pong, and Mario Kart 8 on Nintendo Switch. Get your teams together for some friendly competition! Team registration coming soon! Join us on the Boston waterfront Saturday night at the beautiful Institute of Contemporary Art in the Seaport neighborhood!

Sunday

On Sunday morning, we will join the St. James community for Divine Liturgy at St. James Armenian Church. This is a special opportunity to come together with the ACYOA Juniors who will be taking part in the Hye M'rtsoom ACYOA Junior Sports Weekend. The Installation of the newly elected ACYOA Central Council will also take place. Cap off the weekend with the ACYOA Gala & Awards Banquet, followed by dancing to live Armenian music!

The success of the weekend depends greatly on contributions from our community. Placing an ad is an excellent way to support the ACYOA, and an opportunity to extend a personal greeting, honor a loved one, share a memory, or promote your business.

Transit Options

If you are wondering about transit, we have great options! Uber/Lyft from BOS to the hotel is about 15 minutes and roughly $40-50. The nearest Amtrak station is South station at 700 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, MA 02110.
