ACYOA Virtual Ministries

The ACYOA's virtual ministries offer ACYOA Juniors (13-18) and Seniors (18+) across the Eastern Diocese additional opportunities to keep in frequent touch with each other, with the Armenian Church and with Christ.

Diving Deep Discussions were launched by the Central Council in February 2018 as a way for ACYOA Seniors across the Eastern Diocese to express themselves and engage in conversations regarding current events and everyday life, and how they relate to daily decisions we make as young Armenian Christians.

Sunday Scripture is a welcoming platform for ACYOA Juniors and Seniors to congregate and learn about their faith. The mission of Sunday Scripture is to provide spiritual nourishment and development for Armenian-American youth, while giving them the opportunity to connect with clergymen from across the Eastern Diocese in different ways.

Chapter Chair Connections is a new virtual series established by the ACYOA Central Council in January 2023. Drawing inspiration from the ACYOA's in-person Chapter Connections, this discussion series offers leaders from ACYOA Seniors chapters the opportunity to connect face-to-face with the ACYOA Central Council on a more frequent basis. These chats allow chapters to discuss activities being done at the local level, draw inspiration for future programming, and much more! Chapter Chair Connections are open to all board members from ACYOA Seniors chapters, along with young adults interested in establishing an active ACYOA Seniors chapter in their parish.

During the 2022 Holiday Season, Central Council launched the ACYOA National Secret Santa Gift Exchange, a new virtual ministry. The idea behind the program was to connect ACYOA members from across the Eastern Diocese, sharing with each other their passions and hobbies while spreading some cheer through holiday giving. The 2022 rendition of the gift exchange was a wonderful success with over 40 young adults taking part.

Monday Night Lenten Prayers is a new virtual ministry established by the ACYOA Central Council in February 2023. These 15-minute virtual prayer sessions offer ACYOA Seniors and Armenian young adults the opportunity to gather for group prayer and reflection during the Lenten season. 2023 sessions will take place every Monday night from February 20 - April 3 on Zoom.
