Grigor Galstyan

Grigor Galstyan was born in Yerevan and moved to the United States shortly after birth, later living in Chicago, Boca Raton, and Orlando, where he currently resides. Having grown up in the Armenian Church as the son of Der Paren Galstyan, a Diocesan parish priest, Grigor has remained deeply connected to his faith, heritage, and church community from a young age.
In 2017, Grigor was ordained as an acolyte in the Armenian Church, and in 2024, he was ordained to the rank of sub-deacon, he is currently preparing for ordination as a deacon in the Armenian church.
Grigor has also been actively involved with St. Vartan Camp, where he has served as a CIT, counselor, and most recently as Head Counselor.
Early 2026, Grigor officially established the ACYOA chapter at Soorp Haroutiun Armenian Church, creating the parish’s first formal youth presence and helping organize fellowship, service, and youth activities within the community. He has also participated in numerous diocesan events, including the ACYOA Habitat for Humanity Mission Trip in Jacksonville.
Grigor is currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Central Florida in Orlando with the intention of pursuing a career in medicine. He is also an active member of the Orthodox Christian Campus Ministries (OCCM) chapter at UCF. Through his involvement in the Church and ACYOA, Grigor hopes to continue strengthening fellowship and inspiring Armenian youth throughout the Diocese.
