Andrew Yenicag has been involved in the Holy Martyrs and greater New York Armenian community since an early age. A graduate of Holy Martyrs’ Armenian and Sunday Schools, Andrew was a part of their ACYOA Juniors where he held positions as treasurer and publicist. Having served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Holy Martyrs ACYOA Seniors, Andrew has enjoyed attending a variety of national ACYOA programs since 2014, including Lenten Retreats, Chapter Workshops, and Sports Weekends. Outside of ACYOA, Andrew sings as a tenor in the Holy Martyrs Church Choir and Gomidas Choir of the Eastern Diocese, and plays for Holy Martyrs’ Mens Basketball team, previously playing for their Seniors and Juniors teams growing up.
A 2019 recipient of the ACYOA’s Sam Nersesian Award, Andrew has a deep passion for serving the Armenian Church and the communities that surround him, including as a Counselor at St. Vartan Camp for numerous summers and volunteering in Armenia with the Fuller Center for Housing. Andrew currently serves as an ambassador of Ayo!, the impactful crowdfunding platform of the Fund for Armenia Relief.
Andrew graduated from Fordham University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with Concentrations in Marketing and Sports Business, and has career experience in sports & entertainment marketing, public relations, and corporate partnerships. While at Fordham, Andrew co-founded and led as President of the Armenian Society at Fordham and worked in the university's Athletics Department, where he managed their social media channels and, from time to time, suited up as the school’s mascot, Ramses the Ram.
