Talin grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma, and while there were no Armenian churches, restaurants, or community, her mom prioritized visiting the Dallas church, learning the Armenian language, and understanding our heritage from an early age. It’s because of this that Talin eventually found her way to St. Vartan Camp, where over the years she was a camper, CIT, and staff member. Her years at SVC showed her what it was like to be part of an Armenian community, and she’s actively sought out as many opportunities to be involved and give back since. She attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with honors in 2023 with a degree in Marketing and minors in Communication and Management. While at OU, she held several internships and served in several leadership positions in various student organizations, but most notably was Vice President and President of Gamma Phi Beta and was a founding member of the Armenian Student Organization, where she served as the organization’s Social Media Chair.

She currently lives in Dallas, Texas, working as a senior social media specialist for a group of veterinary hospitals, volunteers as chapter advisor for the Gamma Phi Beta chapter at Texas Christian University, and attends St. Sarkis Armenian Church. Within the church, she has been a member of the ACYOA seniors chapter and heavily involved with the social media and marketing for ArmeniaFest. In her spare time, Talin enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with friends, and watching TV shows/movies.
