Armine Utas has grown up within the walls of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church of Chicago. Over the years, she has served in her local ACYOA chapter, attended retreats, frequented bible studies, sang in her church choir, attended Hye Camp -as a camper, CIT, and staff member-, and has taken steps in her community to unite the youth of the surrounding parishes. 

Armine graduated from the University of Minnesota in December of 2025. She completed a Bachelors of Science in Sustainable Systems Management, helped re-establish the Armenian Student Association on campus, and served as president of the ASA for a year. She attended St. Sahag Armenian Church (Saint Paul, MN) during her time in college, and considers it to be her second home. She currently works as a Sustainability Consultant. Armine is passionate about stewardship, firmly believing that we are entrusted by God to care for and protect the gift of His creation.

Armine is passionate about giving back to the youth of the Church, whose enthusiasm and faith continue to strengthen her own. As a member of Central Council, her goal is to foster a deeper understanding of the faith through engaging and meaningful educational opportunities. She believes that education is essential to fostering a lasting connection to the Church and inspiring the youth to continue growing in their faith.
