From a young age, Georgette has been actively involved in her Armenian Church community through
consistent participation in Sunday School and Assembly, serving faithfully on the altar as an Acolyte, and
singing in the Youth Choir at St. Sahag and St. Mesrob Armenian Church in Wynnewood, PA. She was an
active member of ACYOA Juniors at St. Sahag and St. Mesrob Armenian Church, where she also served on
the Executive Committee as Secretary. These formative experiences instilled in her a deep appreciation for
leadership, fellowship, and the importance of preserving Armenian Christian identity.

Georgette has also dedicated many years to serving Armenian youth through her involvement at St. Vartan
Camp as a Counselor-in-Training, Counselor, and Evening Coordinator. In these roles, she organized and led activities focused on mentorship, teamwork, and faith-centered community building. She continues to remain actively engaged in ACYOA events, including Sports Weekends and Retreats, while faithfully singing in her church choir each Sunday.

In 2025, Georgette spent four months living in Gyumri as a volunteer with Birthright Armenia. In her
occupational role as a Speech-Language Pathologist, she served at the Emili Aregak Center, a nonprofit
organization, providing therapeutic services for children and young adults with disabilities. In addition,
Georgette is fluent in Armenian, both in reading and writing the language; these skills supported her
additional role in teaching the English language to the Armenian youth and young adults in Gyumri. Most
recently, Georgette had the honor of singing in the Philadelphia Armenian Intercommunal Church Choir during the dedication program for the Armenian Heritage Walk throughout the April 24 commemorative weekend in downtown Philadelphia. The opportunity to participate in such a historic and spiritually meaningful event reflected her deep appreciation for the unity of Armenian communities through faith, remembrance, and music.

Georgette earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and holds her MS, CCC-SLP credentials from Loyola University Maryland. She currently resides in Philadelphia, where she provides services to children in Preschool Early Intervention. In her spare time, Georgette enjoys running, singing in the Akhtamar choral group, and playing the piano. Through both her professional career and volunteer service, Georgette remains passionate about supporting others, strengthening her faith, and preserving Armenian heritage with humility, compassion, and dedication.
